Dave The Funky Shoulder Monkey
Meet Dave The Funky Shoulder Monkey — a robot monkey who sits on your shoulder, and has a whole range of cute and amusing gestures and sounds. You can fix him to your shoulder with a special arm loop, and then control his movements with a remote control that you can keep in your pocket. Then he will interact with you, your friends, or just people who pass you by, do tricks, react as you control his behaviour, and generally fascinate and entertain everybody.
Dave The Funky Monkey is a cheeky chappie with a difference! He’s fun, but he can be rude sometimes, even burping, breaking wind or blowing raspberries, along with singing, laughing, turning his head, or waving. He is a great — if sometimes a bit naughty — friend for a child between the ages of 5 and 12. And we wouldn’t be surprised if he turns out to be just as popular with young adults too.
Dave The Cheeky Monkey’s 30 Different Actions
When you talk to Dave, he will respond to you with one of over 30 different actions. If he doesn’t like what he sees or hears, or if he feels shy, he may cover his eyes. If you come up and say hello to him, he may greet you with a high-five! And if he’s tired or bored, he may just fall asleep — but watch everyone’s surprise when he suddenly wakes up and comes back to life again!
How does Dave do his funky stuff? He is powered by batteries and his owner keeps a remote control hidden somewhere — like in a pocket — to control his behaviour. He is only about 20 cm tall (about 8 inches) and looks a bit like a small squirrel monkey with his black body, white face, feet and hands. His actions are hilarious as well as cute, and he’s a fun companion who will entertain children and their friends with his chattering, waving, looking around, and lots of other nutty stuff.
Dave The Funky Shoulder Monkey retails for around £25 — and toy experts are predicting that he is going to be one of this season’s favourite Christmas toys — and if demand reaches a height that some people expect, he might be hard to find in the stores later on. So smart shoppers on the lookout for this fun and attractive robotic monkey toy would be well advised to start their search and early and beat the rush!
